Celebrating 21 years

Barford Hire was started by David Sorrell back in 1987. And although the company has grown into a business employing around 20 staff and operating more than 200 commercial vehicles, it is still very much a family concern, with several members of the Sorrell family in key roles.

When you rent or buy from Barford, you are choosing a business with its roots deep in the region. Wherever possible, we purchase all our new vehicles within East Anglia, to ensure that your money goes back into our local economy.
